So I’m re reading the 4-Hour Body and recommitting to the workout routine. I used it in 2011 to lose about 20lbs but I lost interest. Anyway reading up on the 6 reasons to take a cold shower and the very last one says that its effective treatment against depression.
"Cold showers are an effective treatment for depression. One study showed at 68 F for two to three minutes, preceded by a 5 min gradual adaptation to make the procedure less shocking."
Jumping in to a cold shower automatically snaps you out of whatever mood you are in. LIKE OMG what is happening!!!!! I was happy before! Now I feel TERRIBLE! and COLD!
That being said my behind will be taking a cold shower today. You know for science.
